Every day many of us wake with the dread of something that we have to do that just seems too tough to tackle. "If only my son or daughter lived near by, if only their schedules weren't so busy, if only I had a son or daughter!"

For whatever reason, feeling alone and overwhelmed with life's little challenges can be a constant irritation. That's where I come in...a daily, affordable, skilled personal assistant to help you lighten your heavy load.

From Jan - April 15th I'm here to help you!

My skill set provides you with the following services:

  • Computer Help
  • Social Calendar/Trip planning/Correspondence
  • Light cleaning, washing and changing sheets
  • Resolving sticky wicket issues with products/services 
  • Making breakfast, lunch or dinner for the freezer
  • Downsizing & Organizing
  • Complete Renovation Design Consulting and/or Redecorating consultation, shopping & set-up
  • Companionship ~ Games, Cards,Puzzles, Reading, Spiritual Discussions
  • Opening packages & bottles (that are not only child proof but people proof!)
  • Gardening, Watering plants
  • Walking and/or washing dog & Kitty care
  • Large or small...you name it. If I can't do it I'll help your find the right person who can!

Our simple arrangement is that I give you efficient and cheerful service at $40/day M - F, or $200/per week (no charge cards) and if you aren't 100% happy...you cancel! No contract required. 

My husband is a skilled and talented Jack of All Trades he can provide simple handy-man services during your scheduled time rather than me.

All clients have their medications and groceries delivered for free.

A one-week trial is suggested to make sure that it's a good fit. Sally, my 5 lb. Chihuahua is my constant, quiet companion but she resides in her back-pack apartment when needed, so she doesn't have to be roaming around your home.

It's a Mon - Fri arrangement. If you find a friend that needs 2 days and you take only 3 days for instance...we can make that work also.  3 hour blocks also available. (Sorry no nursing, health, therapy care or personal/private needs, like help with showering included.)

  • Personal Assistant & Caregiver for my mother for 7 years  

Why I have chosen this 'Work'...

First and foremost it's not work in the traditional sense of the word. I have chosen to help neighbors as I helped my mother. The 'work' of care giving is highly gratifying for me. I have empathy for those who just need a little helping hand and are missing their family members to provide it. Having worked for myself for over 75% of my life, and wanting a semi-retirement job as a snowbird, this fills the bill... while I get to know my neighbors!
